Supertemps raises a glass to Anglesey’s award-winning tourism businesses
As a North Wales recruitment agency it will come as no surprise that many of our employers and employees work in the tourism industry. Every year Anglesey Tourism Association stages an awards dinner to recognise the effort the island’s businesses put in to welcoming visitors. Supertemps took the opportunity this year to sponsor the welcome drinks reception. It’s our way to say a small thank-you to businesses that seek employment through us.
Hospitality and catering is a growing sector for us at Supertemps. As an independent North Wales recruitment agency we have local knowledge and that’s a big plus for the many businesses we help. Some still turn to the big city agencies for their recruitment needs. With offices in Bangor and Colwyn Bay, why go that far for a service that won’t provide the convenience and knowledge we offer, but will probably cost more?
For the awards dinner we worked alongside North Wales wine merchants James Fearon Wines in selecting the drinks. They sponsored the wines for the dinner itself. They know their stuff, so we deferred to them! The winners of the fourteen Awards categories were presented at The Pavilion, Anglesey Showground. Among those receiving awards were newcomers Plas Rhianfa (Quality Regeneration category – can’t argue with that!) and Richard Peacock from Anglesey Circuit, recognised for his outstanding contribution to tourism.
We presented the Best Pub/Inn Accommodation of the Year award to Patrick Flynn from The Seacroft. Well done Patrick!
Best Looking Attendees went to Sian Williams and Steve Griffiths from Supertemps, pictured above. Ok, we just made that up!
